Marketing Strategist

Brolik is currently looking for an experienced marketing professional who will thrive in our collaborative, small team atmosphere and won’t be afraid to jump right in.

We are experiencing a period of strong growth, and as we take on new clients, we will need the support of a skilled marketing strategist(s).

The position will entail managing the daily details and supporting the long-term strategy for several of our clients. Candidates should have a strong focus and interest in creative strategy, with responsibilities ranging from content development, social media management, and data analysis.

This position requires strong analytical, research, written communication and problem solving skills. An ideal candidate is someone who has a strong understanding of content strategy and SEO, Google Analytics, and social promotions.

This is a full time position at 40 hours per week that we are looking to fill by February 2019.

Reports to: Director of Marketing Strategy



  • Short and long form content development

  • Ongoing organization for several of Brolik’s retained clients

  • Regular email and phone communication with clients and subcontractors

  • Analytics review and developing strategic insight using Google Analytics, Moz and a number of other platforms

  • Monthly reporting support for clients based on completed initiatives and insights gathered

  • PPC review on search, social and display platforms

  • Learning new disciplines and experimenting with new platforms that become necessary to improve client’s marketing efforts

  • Finding strategic and efficient solutions for both client and internal challenges

  • Communicating thoroughly, thoughtfully and effectively with the team, clients and other contacts



  • Bachelor's degree

  • 2-4 years of relevant industry experience as an agency or brand side marketer

  • Experience with Google Analytics

  • Experience with popular social networks and basic understand of their built in ad platforms

  • Must be a self-motivated hard worker

  • Must exhibit strong critical thinking skills

  • Must provide writing samples that demonstrate strong writing skills

Full Stack Web Developer

Brolik is looking for a full stack web developer to join our agency and grow into a leadership role within the company.

We build advanced tech products and drive growth for our clients through digital marketing campaigns. We have an open, collaborative environment, and we believe that a casual and comfortable work setting leads to better productivity.

We’re looking for someone to thrive in this environment and who appreciates the current state of the web and how technology and usability can benefit our clients and our agency.

This is a full time position at 40 hours per week that we are looking to fill by February, 2019. 


We are looking for a candidate with experience with automated deployment processes, building scalable development infrastructure, managing contracted developers (a network of trusted contractors is a huge plus) and working directly with end clients.

Candidates should have experience with HTML/CSS (and SASS), PHP, MySQL, javascript and the frameworks jQuery and AngularJS. We also often work with new APIs, so an understanding of how to read and understand technical documentation is required.

Candidates should be comfortable developing things from scratch, but understand what pre-existing tools are available to them to fit a project's requirements. The key is using the best solution for each client's needs. Experience with WordPress, Craft and/or other common CMSs is a plus.

Relevant coursework and open-source projects on GitHub, CodePen, jsFiddle and Stack Overflow are a bonus. We’re more focused on attitude, problem solving skills, and motivation to learn on one's own; syntax can be looked up, but if you don’t know how to solve the problem, you don’t know what code to research.

Planning, coding and collaborating on small to large-scale development projects. This includes brand websites, eCommerce websites, web apps, enterprise websites and applications, and almost any code challenge that is required to complete a job for a client. Most of the time, development work is done off of wireframes, flat designs and a UI kit, but candidates should be ready and willing to help with or lead wireframing and minimal design tasks as well.

Field Test

After an initial interview, qualified candidates will also be judged on a 1-3 hour code project (completed off site) that we will administer. We’ll provide all requirements and assets needed to complete the project, which is standalone and will test several different aspects of code planning and development.

Candidates should submit a cover letter expressing why they would be strong candidate for the job, a resume, portfolio website, any social coding websites they are active on (GitHub, BitBucket, CodePen, Stack Overflow, codewars, etc), and any professional references.
