Bio
As Brolik’s Content Strategist, Jessie works with our clients to understand their company’s unique value and strategize how best to present that to potential customers. On a typical day, Jessie develops brand positioning and messaging, designs content structure for client websites, and writes and edits copy and blog posts.
Jessie is obsessed with words and the power of language. Well-strategized and executed content strategy can make a huge impact on a company’s bottom line, and she loves to harness that power to help our clients succeed. She is known for her growth strategy mindset that guides everything she does, and her knack for writing about any topic under the sun in a way that satisfies both experts and newbies alike. Her writing has been published in TechCrunch, Foundr Magazine, Asana’s Wavelength, and many other places.
Jessie has been helping businesses tell their stories and market their products for the past ten years. After graduating from Westminster College with B.A. in English and Creative Writing, she worked in Silicon Valley for eight years, first at the YouTube co-founders’ startup where she ran marketing and content strategy for multiple B2C apps, then as a consultant, helping dozens of startups with growth and messaging. Most recently, she was a Messaging Strategist for a recruiting agency where she managed messaging for large tech clients like Medium, Asana, and Grammarly.
When she’s not in the office, she’s usually camping in the woods, watching obscure foreign films, reading about data privacy, or searching for the best sandwich in Philly. You can pry her beloved sandwiches from her cold, dead hands.
