Marketing Specialist


Position Summary

We are searching for a dynamic and versatile Marketing Specialist to drive our clients’ marketing efforts. In this position, you will be responsible for executing on all aspects of our clients’ marketing operations, from producing high-quality content and managing campaigns to tracking performance and completing day-to-day marketing tasks. Your focus will be to ensure that our marketing efforts help our clients reach their goals, grow their business and facilitate a long and fruitful relationship.

To be successful in this role you will need a strong understanding of digital marketing fundamentals, hands-on experience with web analytics and marketing tools, and the ability to execute across multiple channels and platforms. You should be a skilled writer who can adapt to different brands and audiences, as well as a curious, self-directed learner who picks up new tools and concepts quickly.

This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week that we are looking to fill as soon as possible. It is a hybrid position and we would like to have the selected candidate in office 1-2 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy successful marketing efforts for our marketing retainer clients, including content, paid advertising, email, and social media campaigns

  • Write and edit high-quality copy across multiple formats: articles, website copy, social posts, ad copy, emails, and case studies

  • Align content to client business goals and target audiences using SEO and marketing best practices

  • Monitor and manage marketing and advertising budgets

  • Gather and evaluate data for key insights and key performance indicators to track success

  • Learn new disciplines and experiment with new tools and platforms that will improve client marketing efforts

  • Communicate thoroughly, thoughtfully and effectively with the team, clients and other contacts

  • Attend, contribute to, and take detailed notes in internal and client meetings

  • Accurately track all time spent on both internal and client-facing initiatives

  • Act as an additive and vital component of the Brolik team and work cooperatively to uphold and improve the company culture

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience as an agency or brand-side marketer

  • Understanding of foundational marketing tools, tactics and principles

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

  • Self-motivation for growth and learning

  • Strong critical thinking skills

  • Highly creative with excellent analytical abilities

  • Outstanding collaborative and interpersonal skills

  • General computer and technical literacy, specifically Google Suite

  • Hands-on experience with web analytics, especially Google Analytics

Extra Credit

  • Google, Facebook and Linkedin ad platform experience

  • Experience with website CMS platforms (Wordpress, Shopify, Craft, Webflow, etc.)

  • Account management experience

  • Previous Agency Experience
