Jessie Wood
Senior Content Strategist
About
As Senior Content Strategist, Jessie oversees all content and brand strategy at Brolik. She works with our clients to understand their company’s unique value, strategize how best to present that to potential customers, and create a plan for executing on that strategy. On any given day, Jessie could be working on brand positioning and messaging, creating content structure for client websites, or defining long-term content strategy that supports the marketing funnel and provides value to the audience.
Jessie is obsessed with words and the power of language. A well-strategized and executed content strategy can make a huge impact on a company’s bottom line, and she loves to harness that power to help our clients succeed. She is known for her growth mindset that guides everything she does, and her knack for writing about any topic under the sun in a way that satisfies both experts and newbies alike. Her writing has been published in TechCrunch, Foundr Magazine, Asana’s Wavelength, and many other places.
Jessie has been helping businesses tell their stories and drive growth since 2010. After graduating from Westminster College with B.A. in Literature and Creative Writing, she worked in Silicon Valley for eight years, first at the YouTube founders’ startup, AVOS Systems, where she ran marketing and content strategy for multiple B2C apps, including the famous web 1.0 site Delicious, then as a growth consultant helping dozens of startups with growth, messaging, and content marketing. Prior to moving to the East Coast and starting at Brolik, she was a Messaging Strategist for a recruiting agency where she developed messaging and recruiting strategy for large tech clients like Medium, Asana, and Grammarly.
When she’s not in the office, she’s usually camping in the woods, watching indie movies, reading about data privacy, or searching for the best sandwich in Philly. You can pry her beloved sandwiches from her cold, dead hands.
