Brand Identity Design for Startup HR Platform

CandidateNext is a HR industry startup founded by a veteran Fortune 250 corporate recruiter, focused on helping candidates to create compelling, video-enabled resumes. They tasked Brolik with helping them to develop a brand that would stand out in the crowded recruiting and job search landscape.

Branding Round A

Our exploration started with a broad scope -- CandidateNext knew that they needed a modern brand that was reflective of their tech-oriented focus, but beyond that, they didn’t have a specific vision for what they wanted. So our first round provided a wide variety of colors, typographic styles, and brand marks.

Branding Round B

Based on the exploration in Round A, the client chose green as the foundational color for the brand, and pointed to two options that they liked the best. We dug in deep with them to explore what they would look like in different use cases.

Final Branding Package

We had a winner, so the final round was all about refining the details and putting together a final brand guide. We also included a bunch of examples on how the brand could be implemented on everything ranging from social profiles, to stationary and apparel.
