Powerful New Website to Match Players’ Union’s New Brand

The MLS Players Association is an organization run by and for the players of Major League Soccer, serving as a unified voice and collective bargaining representative. They needed a new website to accompany the launch of their new name and updated MLSPA branding, that would showcase their mission to players and fans alike.

A Vibrant and Active Communications Platform

One of the primary goals of the website was for it to serve as an effective communication platform for the organization to promote its agenda and actions to the players and broader MLS community. This meant promoting fresh content prominently on the homepage and building an efficient system for posting and filtering articles.

A Robust Infrastructure

The MLSPA had a problem with their previous website. Every time they posted their list of salaries for all of the MLS players, which was an important annual event for them, the huge influx of traffic would crash their site. Our development team built a robust and scalable server infrastructure using AWS, which included multiple servers and a load-balancing layer to ensure that their website held up and stayed snappy, even with thousands of simultaneous users.
